Rye

This timber-clad architectural beach house at Rye Back Beach, on the Mornington Peninsula, was designed and built by Hansen Living. The project sits alongside other Mornington Peninsula coastal builds in the Hansen Living portfolio, with every stage, from design through to interiors, handled in-house.

This bayside property by the back beach in Rye was totally transformed. A second level and garage was added to the property and integrated the building works into a seamless renovation to provide the feeling of a brand new home. We took inspiration from the natural elements surrounding the home, by featuring a modern Australian-inspired palette of colours and varying textures.
